About The Equity Center
The Equity Center is an organization of over 650 low- and mid-wealth public school districts that advocates for the fair treatment of all Texas public school children and Texas property tax payers. In addition to “crunching numbers,” the Equity Center conducts school finance research and assists legislators and staff by providing timely, accurate school finance data. We also provide services to our member districts including assistance with the calculation of state funding and providing educational seminars.
