The American Nutrition Association (ANA) is a rapidly-growing professional association for the science and practice of personalized nutrition. Reporting to the ANA CEO, the Director of Legislative and Regulatory Affairs advocates on behalf of nutrition professionals in policy and government affairs initiatives. The person in this position will work to ensure adoption of policies that facilitate the ability of nutrition professionals to practice to the level of their training and the ability of all Americans to reach their potential through personalized nutrition. The Director is responsible for the overall development and implementation of legislative and regulatory strategies that support organizational goals. The Director supervises contracted lobbyists. The position may be remote or based in the ANA’s suburban Chicago, Illinois office, and requires some travel.
