Job Description

The Global Security Policy team is part of Intel's Government and Policy Group and the larger Corporate and Government Affairs organization reporting to the General Counsel.

The security policy team is seeking a global cybersecurity policy expert to join our team. This role will report to the Senior Director of Security Policy in setting Intel's security policy priorities, developing a strategy and working with our global team to execute.

Job responsibilities

  • Interface with policymakers and government officials around the world to communicate Intel's security, cyber, and product assurance priorities.
  • Support the development of partnerships with government stakeholders and customers.
  • Develop and guide the execution of a global strategy for cybersecurity and product assurance policy.
  • Work with think tanks, academics and advocacy groups on security policy issues.
  • Work with peers in other companies to strategize and influence on security priorities.
  • Interface with Intel leadership to promote ongoing understanding and appreciation for the external policy environment.
  • Work with product teams at Intel to understand security issues and help drive internal policy decisions around security.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Political Science, Public Policy or related field.
  • 10+ years experience in public policy with a focus on cybersecurity, products security.

In addition the ideal candidate should also have:

  • Global perspective and experience working on policy issue around the world.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in public speaking and presenting.
  • Government experience preferred.
